We offer 15 hours per week of English language study. The academic program is innovative and varied with a focus on communication and increasing student confidence in the use of English. We understand that all students are different and our specially designed and tailored program has been created to dynamically trigger student motivation.
All students are assessed via a first-day placement test according to their age and need to ensure correct and compatible grouping. Groups are deliberately kept small to ensure personal and high-level student/teacher time ratios, with a maximum of 12 students per group. All students receive a level based certificate at the end of their course. During their classes, students will not only study the English language but experience a wonderful cross-cultural curriculum including British history geography and literature. During their free time and excursion times they will, of course, have many opportunities to relax and enjoy the culture and sights of Historic Chester.
We are based in Chester which is arguably the richest city in the North West of England for archaeological & architectural treasures preserved to this day from the time of the Roman occupation. A Roman amphitheater, bathhouse, and gardens, with ongoing excavations, lies just outside the old city's walls. Originally the castle fortress site of the 20th Roman Legion it was charged with suppressed the uprising of the army led by the warrior queen, Boadicea, the town being known then (c. AD70) as Deva.
