More about studying in Berlin »
Berlin, is the capital city of Germany and is a city filled with history and plenty of modern culture as well. Students interested in studying German courses in Berlin will have a rich past, and a lively present to choose from and enjoy during their stay. Berlin is the largest city in Germany, and although it was badly damaged during World War II and split apart during the Cold War, Berlin still has rebounded and become a very modern city, with a still-visible past within it. In some places in the heart of the city, visitors can view medieval buildings almost right next to ultra modern structures. Students at a German school in Berlin will find themselves in a multicultural city, with plenty of residents who have imigrated from other cities and countries. It also has many museums, like the Museumsinsel or "Museum Island", as well as beautiful churches, and great theatres and festivals. Visitors can also see remaining sections of the historic Berlin Wall that remains on display in the city.

German Intensive Course
24 TU group course
2 TU workshop per week
The Intensive Course provides you with the German language skills required for further education, to achieve your career goals and broaden your horizons. In our short-term courses, starting at a duration of one week, you acquire basic knowledge of German or develop your existing language skills in a targeted manner.
The Standard Course focuses on learning and actively using language structures – this way the instruction is very much practice oriented. But what does this actually mean? Your teacher will assign you an active role while studying German and will draw you and your fellow students directly into his interactive instruction.
Unlike the Standard Course, the Intensive Course also provides enough time to work on current topics from politics, culture and science. Hence, the 4 language skills listening, reading, speaking and writing will not only be trained based on a textbook but the teachers also use supplementary, specially selected materials.
