Course description

The Individual Classes are the more personal and flexible alternative to our Intensive Courses. You will be alone with the teacher and benefit from classes up to the highest standard that are created for your personal demand. Whether you would like to focus only on conversation, improve certain grammatical challenges you are facing, gain special vocabulary for your profession or prepare for an exam – anything is possible.
The Individual Classes can be taken during the whole year from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays. Depending on the time table of each week we will try our best to schedule your sessions at your time preferences.
The duration of one session is 45 minutes and the minimum booking is 5 units. You can take as many Individual classes as you want, and schedule is flexible. Your personal preferences for the content of the classes will be verified with you in advance.
Suitable for:
Any student, who prefers to learn individually and not in the atmosphere of a group. Especially students, who need to prepare for exams, job interviews or who need a flexible time schedule benefit from this course type. We also recommend Individual classes to students with the language level C2 and students with special learning needs.

School description

The SMS Spanish Experience’s teaching method is based on an action-oriented approach. We do not want you to despair of classes, that is too theoretical and only grammar oriented. Our aim is to make you listen, understand and – the most important – to make you talk Spanish.
That is why our methodology has a communicative conception of language and the belief, that learning is constructive and meaningful. You learn by inferring, deducing and relating forms and meanings, using and doing things with the new language. So, in our Spanish school, you will not only learn in an academic way, but you will immerse into the Spanish language and its culture.
The way to achieve this will depend on the students’ tastes and style of learning. As SMS Spanish Experience does not follow a rigid methodology, we can provide you with many different and exciting options to learn Spanish. Independently of which one you choose, you will always be able to enjoy our high-quality standards in education.
First, our teachers will offer you alternatives and suggestions, always adapting the content to the student’s needs and not simply following a fixed teaching plan as many schools do. Second, the classes will be complemented by a comprehensive school activities program, that is always related to the learned content and to our focus on making you learn the language in a natural surrounding. Third, we will comfort you with a friendly and vibrant atmosphere at our school.
Furthermore, we believe in the importance of diversity and quality of the teaching materials used. Therefore the classes will be held with the support of interactive whiteboards, adequate school books and Spanish learning materials created by our teachers. Not to be forgotten is the fact that all our teaching staff are native Spanish as well as highly educated and experienced in their profession.

School location

Our school is located in the central part of Adeje in the sunny south of Tenerife. Situated right next to us is the historic “Casa Fuerte”, which for a long time was the strongest and tallest building in the area, also close to us is legendary “Barranco del Infierno”, the “Hell’s gorge”, which leads to the highest waterfall in Tenerife. The historic center of Adeje town which is filled with charming cafes and restaurants as well as small shops and supermarkets is just around the corner.
Our school is situated in a spacious building recently renovated with extensive amenities for our students:
Large reception area, where you can meet our friendly reception staff and ask them anything regarding your course, activities or excursions.
Three spacious, well equipped and naturally conditioned class rooms with interactive whiteboards.
Lounge area, where you can relax or even work comfortably whilst having a coffee or tea.
Free Wifi in the whole school area.
Library, a true treasure chest full of Spanish literature and educational books.
The whole school is easily accessible by wheelchair and easy to reach by public transport and car.

"Perfect!"

There were four teachers, and they were very good. The lessons began with introducing yourself, or telling some thing about yourself, or what you have done, and then we did some grammar.

The lessons were very pleasant and funny.

"Amazing experience"

I attended a Spanish course from mid November to mid December 2023.
It is a very high quality school: all the teachers are highly skilled and professional, extremely nice and patient, willing to provide easy learning methods.
My Spanish level had improved a lot and I am absolutely glad about that.

The school location is also very good to combine studying and free time: I had my classes in the morning and in the afternoon I was free to sightseeing or going to the beach.

I absolutely recommend this school.

Besides the school have good equipment for leading the lessons.

Although my daughter (teenager) had to go and take lessons daily for 3 hours during our vacation (siblings got to stay home and enjoy the break) she did not complain at all after the first session. The school responds very flexibly to individual wishes and does a great job accommodating special time and group requests. Very friendly and easy going staff. In fact my daughter said we can do it next break as well
I would definitely chose it again and recommend it to others.
