Course description

The Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language(DELE) is the official title certifying the degree of competence and command of the Spanish language. The DELE is awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain. It has different levels that follow the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference of the Council of Europe.

Our Spanish academy offers the DELE Spanish course for foreigners who aim to receive the official diploma of the Instituto Cervantes and prepare the test with the help of specific material and expert teachers in the field.

We are a DELE exam preparation center in Alicante and every year we help to enroll dozens of students in each test, always advising the student which Spanish course is best for him/her.

DELE Diplomas are internationally recognized and have great prestige, not only among public educational institutions and authorities (universities/colleges) but also in the business world such as chambers of commerce and other business associations.

School description

Elcano Spanish School in Alicante is located in the heart of Alicante and it offers a wide range of Spanish courses.

Every year we receive more than 500 students of different nationalities who enroll in our Spanish courses and programs for foreigners which are held throughout the year.

Establishing evaluation criteria, through our online or face-to-face tests we place each student at their level and make students’ progress by acquiring all the necessary language skills step by step.

Many of the Spanish programs are created following the methodology of the Instituto Cervantes and taught by our team of teachers with an extensive career in teaching Spanish and specific training in ELE (Spanish as a foreign language).

Thanks to the work of our team of teachers, we create our own materials based on current needs and use extensive means that allow us to constantly innovate.

As additional services Elcano school offers accommodation for those who need it, internships in companies for those looking for an initial experience in the Spanish work market, cultural activities, language workshops, excursions and airport transfer service.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
