Our university accredited Spanish teachers are the very best at what they do and work closely with our students, ensuring that they receive first-rate educational opportunities. Spanish classes are small and dynamic, containing a maximum of 6 students and use the communicative approach of teaching, fully engaging students and putting them on the road to language success! Our class structure encourages students to speak as much Spanish as possible, and so our teachers actively adopt the 80/20 rule. In class, students speak 80% of the time and teachers 20%. Our school is centrally located in downtown Heredia in historic, colonial houses that are interconnected by peaceful gardens and patios. In the multiple courtyards and balconies, students often study, enjoy a cup of coffee, chat and relax. The school has many modern upgrades and most classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards and televisions. Students are also able to use the computer lab or the student computers located in the reception area and the school also offers free wifi to students.
Our partner school in Santo Domingo is located in the district "Zona Universitaria” and faces the campus of the largest Dominican University (UASD). The building is bordered by a garden with terraces perfect for socializing, while the indoor classrooms are cozy and simple. All of this adds up to a personalized and extremely friendly atmosphere. Jump on public transportation and in a mere 10 minutes you’ll find yourself in the city’s historic Colonial Quarter where museums, theatres and restaurants abound.
