IH Bogotá was opened in February 2007 and has since grown into an important centre for language teaching and teacher training. The school is located in the heart of Bogotá's financial district, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars for all budgets and walking distance to world-class shopping malls. It is close to a number of Universities meaning it has a large student presence. Our school is walking distance from the most famous entertainment and gourmet dining zones: "Zona G", "Zona T" and "Zona Rosa" and close to “Rosales” and “Nogal” some of the most traditional neighborhoods in Bogotá. It is also just a 3-minute walk to the Calle 72 Transmilenio station (and a 5-minute walk to the Calle 76 Transmilenio station) and El Dorado International Airport is a 30-minute taxi ride away. The newly renovated building has 4 storeys, 11 spacious classrooms, a student lounge with computers available for students, easy wheelchair access, parking facilities and WiFi throughout. The fact that the school teaches English to people from the local community means that there is plenty of opportunity for our students of Spanish to meet native Spanish speakers, make friends and improve their fluency without leaving the school.
