Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain by population and it is located on the northern Mediterranean coast. It is the capital of Catalonia, and one of the most modern and cosmopolitan cities in Spain. Barcelona has something for everyone; it is a vibrant city great for walking and full of markets, museums, shops, and fascinating architecture. While you study Spanish courses in Barcelona you can explore the Gothic Cathedral, sample tapas at a local outdoor café, or head to La Rambla, an area full of street performers and outdoor restaurants. Barcelona also has seven pristine beaches to relax on, and a thriving sports scene, including the popular football team FC Barcelona. While you are learning at a Spanish school in Barcelona, it is important to note that Barcelona has two official languages, Spanish and Catalan. Many of the local signs are in Catalan and it isn't uncommon to hear it spoken throughout the city, so don't worry if you occasionally have no idea what someone is saying!
If your schedule is from monday to friday and does not allow you to carry out any of our courses but you need to learn Spanish or improve your knowledge, Barcino School opens its doors on Saturday and Suhnday in the morning so you can progress in your learning.

The Intensive Spanish 20 course is our most popular course where students will spend 4 hours per day in a group learning Spanish grammar and communication skills. This allows for maximum exposure to the language while still allowing for the other half of the day for activities and exploring the city.
The One to One 20 program is 20 hours of private lessons each week, a full 4 hours per day. Lessons are held in the afternoons between 2:30pm and 6:30pm in general, but occasionally there is availability for alternative schedules.
Learn Spanish and learn how to Salsa at the same time! Each week you'll have 20 Spanish lessons) with experienced native Spanish teachers and 5 Salsa classes with professional Salsa instructors. Dancing Salsa is the perfect way to unwind after Spanish lessons, and a great way to meet your fellow students! Besides, you will meet many friendly native Spanish salseros, who are a very cheerful and welcoming bunch - you will have a great time with them while practicing your Salsa and Spanish skills.
This course combines our popular Intensive Spanish Course (20 lessons per week) with 5 Conversation lessons per week. You will have 4 general Spanish lessons each day, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) plus one conversation lesson.
The Intensive Spanish Course is the most popular of our Spanish courses, as it is intensive enough to help you make rapid progress with your Spanish, whilst at the same time allowing you plenty of free time to explore Barcelona. The course takes place in the mornings, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), 4 lessons per day.
The Super-Intensive course is ideal if you want to learn as much Spanish as possible in the time that you have available to you. There are 25 Spanish lessons per week, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) with a maximum of 10 students per class (average 7).
This course combines our popular Intensive Spanish Course with 10 Conversation lessons per week. The Super-Intensive and Conversation course consists of 30 classes per week and takes place Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
These 2-week courses are designed for students over the age of 50 who prefer to study and socialise with people of their own age. The courses consist of 3 hours a day of Spanish classes, which take place from 10.
No time to loose! The right program for the people who want to focus on their Spanish and improve it as quickly as possible. This course is our most popular course because our students know that there is no more effective and pleasant way to learn Spanish! Classes are 4 hours every day, Monday through Friday, in the morning or in the afternoon.
By investing only 2 hours every day, Monday through Friday, you would work regularly on your Spanish and would be able to feel an efficient and fast improvement.
There are no morning courses of 2 hours a day.
