If you want to learn English in a bright, modern town with a full history behind it without all the stress and bother of a metropolis, why not consider studying English courses in Sheffield – the Greenest City in Europe. It's not just its two million trees that make this city attractive – the location has been inhabited for almost 13,000 years, and there's good reasons why. Temperate and beautiful, Sheffield is also convenient – when your classes are over, if you feel like popping over to France or Belgium on a whim, there's a direct Eurostar connection to take. Or if you want to stay closer, the train to London doesn't take too long either. But probably you won't particularly want to leave Sheffield. After all, when classes are over you can go visit any number of museums and other attractions, or just relax in one of the many pubs, including the Old Queen's Head, that's in a building dating back to 1475.
