Dundee is the one of the largest cities in Scotland. Its full name is Dundee City. It sits on the north bank of the Firth of Tay which feeds into the North Sea. Historic evidence suggests that the area has been populated since the Mesolithic era. Students enrolled in English school in Dundee might enjoy a visit to The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum. The museum is housed in a Gothic Revival style building. Visitors can peruse the collections that include fine art, decorative art and a natural history collection as well. The Broughty Castle Museum is another great place for visitors to view some fascinating displays detailing the history of the Broughty Ferry. The castle also offers great views over the river. Another interesting attraction is the Mills Observatory which offers a variety of displays and shows, including Planetarium shows. English half day tuition (10 hours a week, 10am to 12noon, Monday to Friday): Practise the 4 skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking with a focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and fun activities.

English every morning with afternoon tours on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday and Thursdays are paid bar lunch days where we relax over lunch for conversation.
Inspired by the popular TV series Outlander, this course is a general English course with tours taking place in the afternoon to some of the sites where the series was filmed including the town of Falkland where the film of Outlander starts and which shows the famous ghost scene at the fountain! Your visit will take you to the historic harbour of Dysart in Fife representing Le Havre in France in the film. We will then visit Culross, a famous Jacobean town and we will also see Balgonie castle.
This scientific English course is taught by a science graduate and gives you the opportunity to practise scientific English related to your own discipline. Plenty of discussion of numerous topics to suit your professional interests and linguistic needs.
