General Preparatory Course, 1010 hours
The General Preparatory Course is a complex program designed for foreign high school graduates who wish to attend state universities in the Czech Republic. This course is suitable for applicants who want to enroll in unique and rare specialties or have not yet selected their primary direction of their future education at the time of arrival.
The course comprises:
- Czech language classes, 20 hours per week (10 hours in-class training and 10 hours of supervised self-studies);
- study materials;
- placement test, final test, and a certificate of the appropriate level;
- documents required for extension of a long-term visa in the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- consulting services regarding visa extension;
This course highly recommeneded for students with Slavic mother tongue because of close relations to Czech language. Meanwhile for students with other languages, one semester will not be enough to learn Czech to level B2
The course includes the required language pack and profile preparation.
