Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Bocas del Toro. These homes are often between 5 - 45 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
The paradisaical islands of Bocas del Toro Archipelago, Panama's top beach destination, are located in the country's north western Caribbean sea. The archipelago separates Bahía Almirante (Almirante Bay) and Laguna de Chiriquí from the open Caribbean Sea. Situated near the Costa Rican border, the enchanting town of Bocas del Toro, home to 8,000 inhabitants is situated in the south eastern tip of Isla Colon, the Archipelago's main island.
We're located on Isla Colón, the main island, in Bocas town, on the road that leads you out of town and takes you to Isla Colon's most beautiful places such as Bluff Beach, Boca del Drago and Starfish Beach. !
Our exact physical location is on the southern corner of G Avenue and 9th Street, just a block before the hospital or a 7 minute walk from Bocas del Toro's Central Park. We are in a quieter place of town ideal for Spanish learning, but still within a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants such as the Casbah and Mondo Taitu and literally only a couple minutes walk to several Bocas del Toro hotels. And if you want to quickly hit the beach, our School in only a 7 minute walk to Playa El Istmito.
