The Intensive Academic Program is an 18-hour per week program designed to help students build confidence and achieve fluency and accuracy in English in preparation for further study in undergraduate and graduate level programs in English or for professional use in the United States or abroad. The Intensive Academic Program offers instruction in all skills in the form of two different integrated skills classes: Writing & Reading and Grammar & Oral Skills

The Intensive Course is a course designed for students who wish to improve their overall English language level as quickly as possible, and to develop their skills and knowledge in a particular language area through a range of Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Intensive English (30 lessons per week) includes the above General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week from a wide selection available. However kindly note that in order for a student to attend a course at EC New York they must be fully vaccinated, therefore a copy of the vaccine certificate must be presented at time of booking.
