Global Link school is placed in the center of Madrid within walking distance of emblematic buildings such as the National Library, the Prado and Thyssen- Bornemisza Museums.
Just off the Paseo de la Castellana, the city’s main thoroughfare, and only a two-minute walk from busy
Colón Square, the school is located on a small quiet street in one of the liveliest areas of the city where you can find a wide variety of museums, shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Therefore, the excellent location allows our students to walk to many of the city’s main attractions.
I chose this school because of the five-hour studying per day, not many schools in Madrid can offer you the same. I had private lessons with smart and funny teacher, Antonio. The whole time, which I spent at this school and in Madrid was excellent.Show details » Read more...
The teachers were very good, and it worked well that they only spoke in Spanish. Sometimes when we were learning about grammar, it would have been nice to talk more to learn by using it.
The hours of learning could get a bit long and I got tired because we were sitting down intensively and concentrating for 2 hours straight. It would have been nice with either a small break or some activity where we can stand up or something like that.
The room was fine and had the right facilities, it was good to use the computer while learning by searching and so on. But there was no windows and the lighting was a bit bad for learning.
My experience in Global Link Idiomas was wonderful! From the moment that my sister and I decide to learn a new language, our mother contacted Bruno and he always paid attention to our doubts, a better way to answer our questions and made our relationship with the school closer! We arrived in Madrid on January 18th, and at the airport there was a taxi driver from the school waiting for us to carry our bags and take us to our host home. On the 19th, it was our first day at the school. No words can explain how welcomed we were that day. The teachers asked what's our best way to learn, what we like the most and what difficulties do we have about the lessons. We talked about ourselves, they talked about themselves. And we felt like we knew them before! The classes were different each day, which is a positive thing because we won't get bored! Haha! Watching videos, reading, listening, and talking about the lesson!
The positive points of the course:
- The teachers!! They were always very polite, respectful, attentive, and helpful with us! We learned about culture, places to go, museums, typical foods and party's from Madrid, Spain!
- The structure: classes, restrooms, very warm environment (Madrid was so cold)
The negatives points:
- We missed books! We got a little bit confused about many different papers. Overall, we do recommend our experience in global link! We learned a lot about Spanish language!! And we miss everybody there!! The city is amazing!! We can't wait to go back!
The teachers were very nice and skilled. The group was just perfect for me, and with four students, the size was just fine. The location of the school was good. Everybody who worked at the school was very kind. I liked everything at the school.Show details » Read more...
We were delighted with you in our school, the teachers very happy with your performance too.
Whenever you want to take Spanish lessons, please come to us.
I liked a lot how they built the lessons. The first lesson was about grammar, then they showed small video clips, and then we played Taboo. (We were two students from Finland, and two from Germany).
The teachers were varied and very nice (Antonio and Paco).
The days were very long as we had an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes every day because of a public holiday which fell on a Monday.
Even so, I really liked my time at school.
Thank you so much, Taina.
It was a pleasure for us to have you in our school and for the teachers to teach you!
We hope to see again in Madrid.
All the best
I stayed for two weeks, four lessons/day without accommodation from the school. The school was small at least at this time of the year. Probably for this low season there were only two of us in the same classroom. Very effective with low price!Show details » Read more...
All was very OK. The classes very effective, teachers professional, location and facilities good and enough activities. There was nothing I didn't like.Show details » Read more...
Due to the low season, I was the only student in the class. I had all attention of the teachers and tutors. I liked both my tutors and the school's secretary, Elvira, who was very helpful. In fact, I liked everything.Show details » Read more...
