Italiano in Riviera
The course is composed of 4 daily Lessons of General course in the morning, plus 2 seminars and one guided visit to a historical - archeological - artistic interest site of Sardinia per week. The course length is from 1 to 4 weeks.
The Course takes place every day from Monday to Friday and is composed of 4 daily Lessons, generally in the morning from 9.15 a.m. until 12.55 p.m. The work carried out in the first part of the morning regards fundamentally grammar and language use. The second part is dedicated to conversation, listening, group activity and games.
The seminars take place in the afternoon and deal with:
- Sardinian history, culture, traditions and art
- the life and work of some protagonists of painting and figurative arts of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
The aim of the guided tours will be to discover sites of great historical-artistic- archeological interest, as the fantastic Prehistoric Altar of Monte d'Accoddi (the one and only example of Babylonian Ziggurat construction in the Mediterranean Basin), the suggestive Nuragic arqueological complex of Palvamera and Torralba (among the best nuragic complex preserved in Sardinia).- The Nuraghe is a typical stone building of the fascinating and mysterious civilization that lived and prospered in Sardinia before de Romans´arrival, and the visit of the lovely Basilica di Saccargia with its black and white marble, a supreme example of Pisane- Romanesque style in Sardinia.

Italiano in Riviera school is located very close to the picturesque Alghero’s harbour at 5 minutes walk to both the beach and the historic town center. The location is ideal for exploring the region's breathtaking beaches or for spending an afternoon shopping in the lively streets of the town centre.
The school offers a wide variety of courses: General Course, Combined Course, Italian Language Course + Italian and Sardinian Art History, Italian + Water Sports, Italian + Tennis, Italian + Cookery and also individual lessons. All our teachers are qualified native-speaking specialized in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language. The lessons are carried out in small groups of 6-8 students in a fun and stimulating atmosphere.

The classes and the teachers were good, and the staff was really nice. The only thing else I would have to say is that the average age is pretty high. I really recommend paying a bit more for doing some extra individual classes.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
