Nativos Spanish School is located in the heart of Cusco, a few steps away from the Main Square. The school's excellent location and its wide variety of courses make it an ideal location to study Spanish and Quechua.
Nativos offers top-quality Spanish tuition, all our teachers have completed extensive training courses & have at least three or more years experience. We offer both private lessons and group teaching. Our methods are unique as we provide grammar & practical lessons so that you can practice speaking with local people. Your conversation lessons take place, not in the school but out and about in Cusco: in markets, shops and museums where you can use your new language skills in real-life situations. These lessons will allow you to break down the barrier between theoretical learning and real communication, safe in the knowledge that your teacher is there to guide, explain and assist. We can also help you find a volunteer placement, and arrange for you to live in the home of a friendly Cusquenian family.
From the moment you arrive in Cusco, Nativos will come and pick you up from the airport and can give you advice on day trips, trekking and tours & activities to help you get the best from your stay in the heart of the Inca Empire. You can meet other travelers and volunteers by attending social events such as cooking classes, using our internet facilities and watching movies on weekends.
Whether you have months to spend volunteering in Peru and want to really master the language, or want to learn Spanish for travelling while on a visit Machu Picchu. We can also make a tailor-made package to fit your needs, for example, students can choose from general Spanish courses, Quechua courses and can decide between just a few lessons per week to fifty lessons per week normally from monday to friday but if students need, lessons could be saturdays, sundays or holidays .
The nationality and age mix at Nativos Spanish School varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 21. In the summer, the average age is 19.
