Spanish in Rosario is a quaint language school located in the picturesque part of Rosario, Argentina and built on the philosophy that language is the most profound aspect of culture and, therefore, can not be learned separately, but rather simultaneously.
Our professors are amongst the most qualified in the city. They are all university graduates who are fluent in more than one language. They are flexible and patient, creative and caring, and they all love what they do!
Abandoning old paradigms of language as a theory rather than a practice, our professor, who are among the most qualified in the city, have integrated everyday situations into our methodology. The idea is to learn Spanish, experience Spanish, and above all, LIVE Spanish.
The nationality and age mix at Spanish in Rosario varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 25. In the summer, the average age is 25.

We are not a “school” in its typical form, nor are we an “institute.” We prefer to refer to ourselves as a Spanish language program based on culture. Our inspiring learning space is located at an upper level, turn of the century restored building located in the picturesque “parte vieja” of Rosario, better known as Pichincha. Pichincha is perfectly located within walking distance of downtown, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city center to make for a perfect learning environment.
Great and knowledgeable teachers. Many different methods of teaching and most importantly a lot of Spanish speaking practice; cosy place with good facilities; local customs integrated in the classes; overall a great place of improving my Spanish and getting to know Argentina better!

Each lesson was molded to my level of Spanish, and I was pushed to learn more and feel more confident than in my previous language learning experiences. I believe I learned in a more natural way than a traditional educational system allows for because the lack of pressure from earning grades, taking tests, and being 100% grammatically correct, was so refreshing. Spanish in Rosario put "learning", and the beauty of learning for learning's sake, was absolutely a shift in my paradigm of education.
It’s great that there were other opportunities to engage with fellow students and teachers and community members through things like wine tasting and beer socials. Perhaps I could have benefited more if I would have pushed myself to speak Spanish at these gatherings rather than resorting to English with other English speakers.

These just might be the kindest words I have ever received! Thank you thank you thank you for choosing us!
When I came to Spanish in Rosario to study Spanish, I was already on my second visit to Rosario. Having to select an institute without any connections or other knowledge I am very glad I chose Spanish in Rosario! Classes were very instructive and interesting since we talked about many current topics and cultural differences that lay in our personal area of interest. I had private classes for 6 weeks together with a girl from Brazil with whom I've become close friends just after the first week of classes. The teachers were very involved, not only in our learning, but also very much in the personal circumstances of our visit. Housing I had already arranged myself with friends, but I got the strong feeling that they really try to find a suiting host family for every student. The building is, especially for Argentinean standards, just lovely and easy to reach by bus, though it is not really central it is close to the river which I liked a lot.
During the break we always went down to the bakery to get something to eat and we have had some really lovely activities like a tango night and a historic/cultural trip around the area. I really do not have anything negative to mention about this Spanish institution and would highly recommend it to any foreign student looking to attain a good level of Spanish and learn something about Rosario and Argentina.
Your kind words mean so much to me! I always love it when our hard work is perceived and appreciated!
Thank you!
I had one-to-one 2 hour Spanish lessons which were amazing. The material we covered really pushed me but it never felt like really hard work because my lessons were really relaxed. The location is perfect and everyone involved with the school is really friendly. We want to a couple of memorable social events too!

The first thing you would have to know, is that the school is small. Before coming, I was thinking having group classes, but during my whole stay, I was the only student of my level, wich changed a lot in two months.
So I had only private classes, but it wasn't worse. It was just different.
One of the best ideas of this school is to rotate teachers. I had classes with 4 different ones, and every one of them brought me something specific. It was definitly better than having the same teacher during the whole stay.
All the activities were great. If you come here, you definitly must try an "asasdo", it´s like a super BBQ made with the best meat ever.
The school location is not exactly in the center, but not too far from it to go by foot.
I found my housing by myself, that´s why it´s not evaluated.
In conclusion, I firmly recommend you to try it!
Thank you for your kind words and recommendations!
