The historic capital of Normandy, the city is famous for Joan of Arc and Monet. Rouen has a population of 120,00 but the conurbation is a lively three university centre of 450,00 people
The city has a pedestrianized historic centre making it a brilliant place to shop and as we are only one hour from Paris it is easy to get to us but also extremely convenient for weekends in Paris, the North of France, the Loire Valley, trips to the UK and to Belgium via Eurostar and of course a romantic day out or two in the French capital.
Rouen is an authentic and safe French city proud of its historic traditions and birthplace of Impressionism.
