Oxford is a world famous university town located a little over an hour west of London. The oldest colleges at Oxford University date back almost 750 years, and the general tone of the city itself is fairly conservative. The General English course consists of 20 lessons each week and is the least intensive option offered at Kaplan. This course allows students to improve their English while still leaving time for sightseeing and leisure during their stay.
Our General English course is designed to improve all areas of your English, increasing your
vocabulary, enhancing your grammar, boosting your written work and strengthening your reading
skills. We encourage individual learning and independence through working alone, in pairs and
in groups.
